King's Bounty, originally released for the PC in 1990, was a very popular game, which is said to be the precursor to the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise. This year's King's Bounty: The Legend shares much with the original game.

Empire Interactive's new version of Pipe Mania has gone gold and will be shipping September 30th for Nintendo DS, PSP, PS2, and PC. Pipe Mania is a remake of the popular puzzle game released in 1989. This version features updated graphics and game play, along with a new storyline focused around Pipe Mania Island.

To be released October 2008, Eidos's Monster Lab for the Wii offers deep game play. Monster Lab allows you to create your own monster from various parts you create. You can then take your monster to battle other monsters either in single or multi-player.

Midway's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe will be coming out soon for PS3 and Xbox 360. For those who don't know much of this title, this is a beautiful real-time rendered 3D game, with characters and backgrounds from both MK and DC Comics.
